Alongside the annual Urs

The festive heart of the community: families, stalls, traditional food and the colours of Punjab gathered in joy and brotherhood.

Around the Urs grows the Mela, the gathering of people. Families travel from villages and cities, old friends meet again, children laugh, and the whole community becomes one household for a few blessed days.

The Mela carries the spirit of the Astana into everyday life: hospitality to strangers, generosity in trade and joy shared without walls.

“O mankind, We created you from a male and a female and made you peoples and tribes so that you may come to know one another.”

Surah Al-Hujurat 49:13
