The spiritual home
آستانہ عالیہ خانو ہارنی شریف
An Astana is a threshold: a doorway between the noise of the world and the quiet of remembrance. Here the lamps of zikr, naat and service are kept burning through the year.

The spiritual lineage of the Astana
The Chishti Nizami Silsila
سلسلہ عالیہ چشتیہ نظامیہ
The Chishti order reached South Asia with Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti of Ajmer and flowered through his successors to Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya of Delhi, from whom the Nizami branch takes its name. Its marks are love for all of creation, an open langar, the sama that softens the heart, and service of the poor.

Visiting the Astana
Adab of the Ziyarat
آدابِ حاضری
The friends of Allah are honoured because of their nearness to Him. The visitor comes to remember Allah, to learn from a life of sincerity and to pray. These simple manners keep the visit pure.
- Enter with wudu and a covered head, and greet with Salam.
- Recite Surah al-Fatiha and Surah al-Ikhlas, and send durood.
- Pray for the departed and for your own family. Ask Allah alone.
- Keep your voice low and your phone silent.
- Prostration is for Allah alone. Show love through adab.
- Take a share of the langar and leave with gratitude.
