12th Rabi ul Awal

بارہ ربیع الاوّل

Jashn-e-Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ: the grand annual Mehfil-e-Milad celebrating the arrival of the Mercy to the Worlds ﷺ.

On the twelfth of Rabi ul Awal the Ummah rejoices in the greatest gift Allah has given: the arrival of Sayyiduna Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ. The Qur'an itself commands the believers to rejoice in the bounty and mercy of Allah.

The annual Mehfil-e-Milad at the Astana gathers devotees from near and far: green flags, illuminated domes, naat khwans, scholars, and an ocean of hearts united in durood. It is a day of gratitude, generosity and renewed love.

قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

“Say: in the bounty of Allah and in His mercy, in that let them rejoice. It is better than all that they amass.”

Surah Yunus 10:58
