The Holy Qur'an
آیاتِ مبارکہ
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
“Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and greet him with a worthy salutation of peace.”
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
“And We did not send you except as a mercy to all the worlds.”
وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ
“And indeed, you are of a sublime character.”
لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
“Certainly, in the Messenger of Allah you have the most beautiful example.”
قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ
“Say: if you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.”
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ
“So remember Me, and I will remember you. Be grateful to Me and never deny Me.”
أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
“Truly, it is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts find rest.”
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
“So surely with hardship comes ease. Surely with hardship comes ease.”
The Sunnah
احادیثِ مبارکہ
لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ
“None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his child and all of mankind.”
مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا
“Whoever sends one blessing upon me, Allah sends ten blessings upon him.”
لَا يَقْعُدُ قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا حَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ
“No people sit remembering Allah except that the angels surround them, mercy covers them and tranquillity descends upon them.”
ذَاكَ يَوْمٌ وُلِدْتُ فِيهِ
“When asked about fasting on Mondays, he ﷺ said: That is the day on which I was born.”
إِنَّ مِنْ خِيَارِكُمْ أَحْسَنَكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا
“Indeed, the best among you are those with the most beautiful character.”
الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ، ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ
“The merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on earth and the One above the heavens will be merciful to you.”
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى صُوَرِكُمْ وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ
“Allah does not look at your appearance or your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds.”
أَطْعِمُوا الْجَائِعَ، وَعُودُوا الْمَرِيضَ، وَفُكُّوا الْعَانِيَ
“Feed the hungry, visit the sick and set free the captive.”
Salawat
درود شریف
The salutations recited in every Mehfil-e-Milad, from the Durood taught by the Prophet ﷺ himself to the verses of the lovers.
Durood-e-Ibrahimi
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim; You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious. O Allah, bestow Your grace upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You bestowed it upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim; You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.
Salat-o-Salam
الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَعَلَىٰ آلِكَ وَأَصْحَابِكَ يَا حَبِيبَ اللَّهِ
Blessings and peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, and upon your family and companions, O Beloved of Allah.
Durood-e-Ghausia
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا وَمَوْلَانَا مُحَمَّدٍ مَعْدِنِ الْجُودِ وَالْكَرَمِ وَآلِهِ وَبَارِكْ وَسَلِّمْ
O Allah, send blessings upon our master and patron Muhammad, the wellspring of generosity and nobility, and upon his family, and send Your grace and peace.
Qasida Burda
مَوْلَايَ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ دَائِمًا أَبَدًا عَلَىٰ حَبِيبِكَ خَيْرِ الْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِمِ
My Master, send blessings and peace, constantly and forever, upon Your Beloved, the best of all creation.

مصطفیٰ جانِ رحمت پہ لاکھوں سلام
شمعِ بزمِ ہدایت پہ لاکھوں سلام
“Countless salutations upon Mustafa, the soul of mercy; countless salutations upon the lamp of the gathering of guidance.”
کی محمد سے وفا تو نے تو ہم تیرے ہیں
یہ جہاں چیز ہے کیا لوح و قلم تیرے ہیں
“Be faithful to Muhammad and We are yours. What is this world? The Tablet and the Pen are yours.”
الف اللہ چنبے دی بوٹی
میرے من وچ مرشد لائی ہُو
“Alif: Allah is a jasmine sapling that my Murshid planted in my heart.”
پڑھ پڑھ عالم فاضل ہویا
کدی اپنے آپ نوں پڑھیا ای نئیں
“You read and read until you became a scholar, yet you never once read your own self.”
