Visits to the sacred places and the shrines of the Awliya, carrying the greetings of the devotees and returning with blessings.
The Prophet ﷺ encouraged the believers to visit the graves, for it softens the heart and reminds one of the Hereafter. The lovers travel to the shrines of the friends of Allah to offer Fatiha, to learn from their lives and to pray.
These journeys, near and far, are recorded here as moments of reflection and gratitude.
كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا
“I had forbidden you from visiting graves, but now visit them.”
